JPEG file size for Shutterfly
I was given a gift card to use at Shutterfly to create a photo book. I shoot in RAW and convert to JPEG. The size of the book will probably depend on the size of the book – I assume that the book will be no larger than 14 – but that could change based on your feedback. I shoot raw and edit in Photoshop, then convert to jpeg once I’m finished. When I upload my photos, they are all jpeg photos and usually full size.

BrHawkeye just did a 11×14 wedding album on Shutterfly that came out exactly how I designed it. They will make the book for you, but I have not gone that route.
What file format does Shutterfly use?
Shutterfly currently only accepts the following file formats: JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, HEIC, or HEIF (HEIF is only accepted via the iOS app).

Are Shutterfly layflat pages worth it?
The layflat pages are thick and sturdy, the print quality is better, and they just look really professional. I’ll still get regular photobooks for most other occasions (I usually make them for our vacations), but I highly recommend the layflat pages for your wedding photobook.
Can I change book size in Shutterfly?
Change the size of your Classic Photo Book by going to the Project menu and selecting “Change size,” then selecting the desired size and clicking “Change size.”
Are glossy pages worth it on Shutterfly?
The non-glossy Shutterfly pages were just as good as any other photobook, but the glossy pages were a huge improvement, so I think the Shutterfly glossy pages are worth the extra money, and it’s one optional “add-on” I’ll always choose from now on.
