Paperback Submission Guidelines
If your book has bleed, you must upload your manuscript as a PDF. Submitted files should not contain crop marks, trim marks, bookmarks, or bookmarks. Optimization is useful for reducing your file size, allowing for higher performance when transferring, uploading, viewing, and printing.
Spine text
If you upload your own cover and choose to provide your own barcode, it must meet the requirements listed below. Text on larger spines must be sized to fit the spine, with at least 0.0625 (1.6 mm) of space between the text and the edge of the spine.
Images must be 300 PPI (pixels per inch). 100% black (not RGB/CMYK color or registration black). Suggested size is 2″ x 1.25″ (50.8 x 31.75 mm). Minimum size is 1.4″ x.8″ (35.56 x 203 mm). Positioned at least 6.3 mm from the cover. Ink and paper for 24 – 828 5″ x 8″ (12.7 x 20.32 cm).
