I adore the FoodNetwork show on which this cookbook is based; I’ve had it for a few years and still don’t use it as a go-to cookbook, but I’m still a huge fan of Guy Fieri and Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
Seriously, I worship it and Guy Fieri, and I make it a point to visit all of the locations featured on the show.
Guy Fieri’s cookbook Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives is a must-have for fans of the show; unfortunately, none of the pictures are in color, so you’ll have to pay more for the real thing. I’ve tried about twelve of the recipes in this book. The Three Cheese Macaroni and Cheese was very filling and had a thick sauce with a rich taste. Pete’s Rubbed and Almost Fried Turkey should probably be done outs.
