Jason Aaron was known for writing Wolverine before he wrote Thor, and over the course of many years, he crafted many Wolverine stories that range from light-hearted to dark. So you don’t have to strain your brain trying to figure it all out, I’ve put together this handy reading order.
Single Issue Reading Order
Because Mark Millar returned to Wolverine as Old Man Logan, which was the branding for a period in X-Men comics when the mutants relocated to San Francisco, there is a gap in the issues.
Wolverine: Weapon X (not to be confused with Barry Windsor Smith’s Weapon X story arc) was a spin-off of Wolverine: Origins that spawned a few miniseries, one of which was dedicated to Wolverine. Dark Reign: The List u2013 Wolverine #1 is part of the Dark Reign storyline.
