The popular theory is that the Gravedigger on the Quiet Isle is The Hound, but in the Season 4 finale, they added a line of dialogue that disproves this theory. I love what Rory McCann is doing with the character.
What happens to the Hound?

The scene concludes with the Hound and his brother leaping from a ledge of the Keep into the raging fire of the burning city below, presumably killing them both.
