General Condition Guidelines
Original protective wrapping may be missing, but the original packaging is intact and in good condition. Item may arrive with damaged packaging or be repackaged. It may also be missing some parts/accessories such as screws (in the ).
Category-Specific Condition Guidelines
For people suffering from a variety of conditions, including but not limited to concussion, post-asbestos exposure, and other long-term exposure to chemicals such as carbon monoxide poisoning, the General Condition Guidelines should be considered in addition to or instead of the General Condition Guidelines.
Amazon Devices – Used
Amazon devices do not come with a manufacturer’s warranty, but they do come with a 30-day money-back guarantee from Amazon. Used – Very Good: The item has minor cosmetic imperfections. Small cosmetic imperfections are common with regular use.
Books – New and Used
The following guidelines apply in addition to the General Condition Guidelines: Books with any kind of markings on the cover or pages, books marked as “Bargain” or “Remainder,” or books with any other labels attached, may not be listed as New condition.
Books – Collectible
Collectible books are exempt from the General Condition Guidelines because they must be unique in a way that could reasonably be expected to increase their value to a collector. The following conditions apply to Collectible Books:. All pages and the cover are intact. Spine shows no signs of creasing.
Music – New and Used
General Condition Guidelines apply: cover art, liner notes, and inclusions are in excellent condition. Packaging may have a remainder cut-out, which should be noted in the listing comments. The item or packaging may have identifying markings from its previous owner.
Music – Collectible
Additional information on the condition or completeness of the item and packaging. Notes about the presence of signatures, inscriptions, or other personalization. Special pressings, unusual aesthetics (colored vinyl), or limited edition packaging for collectible music.
Rentals
No water damage (wavy, swollen, or discolored, crinkled, stains, rings); no strong odor of any kind (including musty odor, cigar or cigarette odor); no strong odor of any kind (including musty odor, cigar or cigarette odor).
Software & Computer Games
The box and jewel case are in excellent condition, with no signs of wear; the disc may have a 1cm mark but is in excellent working order; the outer box may be damaged or repackaged. Note: Buyers from outside the United States are unable to purchase software or computer games from Amazon sellers.
Toys & Games – Collectible
The General Condition Guidelines do not apply to the Collectible Toys section of this website, which requires rare, exclusive, one-of-a-kind, or otherwise unique collectible toys and games.
Video, DVD, & Blu-ray Discs – New and Used
Used video, DVD, and Blu-ray discs must be sold with a protective jewel case or box, and any codes for digital copies or downloadable content must be included and unused. Discs may have up to 1cm of wear but are in excellent working condition.

Video Games
Video game items sold on Amazon.com are assumed to be for the US market. Bonus online content activation codes may be missing or expired, and the product may not include downloadable content. If the box or instructions are missing, it must be noted in the condition notes field.
